This year’s Southern Ontario Model United Nations Assembly will take place from April 28-April 30, 2025. We plan on a fully in-person event, with all committees hosted across buildings at the University of Toronto.
Over the years, SOMA has established itself as one of North America’s most prestigious secondary-school-level conferences; it is the oldest high-school-run MUN conference in the world, annually attracting 600 delegates from across North America. SOMA strives to deliver the values of the United Nations: diplomacy, cooperation, and peaceful problem-solving achieved through compromise and discussion. The Secretariat is working to deliver an engaging and nuanced conference, building in new directions on the achievements of our predecessors.
Registration Timeline:
To make the registration process as smooth as possible and to reserve spaces, it is recommended that delegation form and payment be completed by March 2nd, 2025. The regular registration fee is $110.00 per delegate, and please note that full payment must be made at the time of registration.
The delegate fees paid to UTS in this form can be fully reimbursed until March 2nd, 2025, 50% reimbursed until March 28th, 2025 and 25% reimbursed until April 11th, 2025. These deadlines are firm. All cancellations made after April 11th, 2025 are non-refundable. All cancellations and adjustments must be made by contacting: soma@utschools.ca.
